Governor’s Dinner
Governor Martin O’Malley is confirmed as our dinner speaker on Thursday, November 5. The Governor will discuss the state of Maryland’s economy and his economic development priorities.
2010 General Assembly Forecast
On Friday morning, November 6, we’ll preview the 2010 General Assembly session. Confirmed speakers include the Maryland General Assembly’s presiding officers, Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller (D-Dist. 27) and House Speaker Michael Busch (D-Dist. 30), and minority leaders, Sen. Allan Kittleman (R-Dist. 9) and Del. Anthony O’Donnell (R-Dist. 29C).
Economic Update
We'll kick off the conference with an overview of the national and state economies. William Longbrake, Executive-in-Residence and Senior Policy Advisor for the Center for Financial Policy at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, will provide an economic outlook and discuss Maryland's strengths and areas of opportunity.
