Congratulations to Michelle Leveque on 30 years! You are an incredible professional and an asset to our community. Lead on my friend!
I think I have identified the oldest continuously-operated U.S. patent firm founded and still owned and operated by a woman: Leveque Ip Law PC. Michelle Leveque founded her firm 30 years ago and has focused on protecting and enforcing IP since then. As an electrical engineer patent attorney, she has handled some of the most technically sophisticated inventions and now focuses on AI and semiconductors and their integration into other technologies. Michelle visited me yesterday at our new offices at 1101 K Street NW in the heart of Washington, DC. Here are some pictures, including our new coffee bar on the top floor of our building. In today's episode of Life from Liz's Desk (Part Deux) ... I don't normally like to bombard the internet ether with too many of my stories at once, but sometimes my excitement gets the better of me and I just can't help myself. Today, I graduated from the Evolving Leaders Program skillfully taught by Dr. Shawn Wolf of Outside Force. This makes two leadership programs successfully completed in as many months, I think this is a personal best for me! I'd like to thank Dr. Philip Brown, LeeAnne Pacheco, Tara Julian, and the rest of the senior management team at Phoenix Mecano North America for believing in us and supporting our efforts to affect positive cultural change through strategic leadership and collaboration.
