Annapolis Escape rooms are an immersive adventure where a team of 2-10 individuals come together and enter a specially designed room based on a unique theme. They have a time limit of 60 minutes to unravel the mysteries by solving clues that will ultimately lead to their escape. These rooms are filled with puzzles, codes, and hints that need to be deciphered. Sometimes a clue will guide them to the next step, while other times it may lead to a dead-end, adding to the adrenaline-filled rush of racing against the clock. "It's a thrilling experience that lasts for 60 minutes, during which teamwork and communication are essential to unravel each puzzle, riddle, and clue," explained, co-founder of EscapeTime in Maryland. "Prepare to collaborate in innovative ways, discover each other's strengths, and identify the 'Einstein' among your group. It's no wonder that escape room settings have become increasingly popular for corporate team-building exercises." Not fun. I did The Quest and it said it was beginner on the website but then when we were done she said it was advanced?
Puzzles weren't fun and didn't make any sense. Even when we asked for a hint the hints didn't give us anything so we were still confused and we had to ask for hints until she just gave us the answer. Horrible please go somewhere else.

We apologize if the room didn’t meet your expectations and appeared unclear. Ensuring a positive and engaging experience for each participant is of utmost importance to us. It’s worth noting that our “beginner-level room” has been successfully completed by many young teams without the need for any clues. Originally designed for ages 5 and above, families and groups have previously escaped the room with great success.
We acknowledge that experiences can vary, and different teams may encounter unique challenges like yours.

I will first say I will never be going back to this place again and that we had the worst experience ever. Pieces were missing and we mentioned it several times because we were told they would be listening. Never got any help because of that time was wasted. AfTer the game we mentioned something to a lady, who when asked if she was the manager and got a response ummmm I guess so, and was told well peoples brains think differently. Don't waste your money on this place.

5 Star experience at escape time in Severna park! This was the first time we have done a escape room ever and it was a lot of fun. The girls that worked there were very nice and helpful. We did the ghost ship room. We did not make it out in time but we were very close tho. We all left there saying we will have to do that again sometime. Thanks for the great experience.

Stacy C.Severn, MD0217Dec 30, 2021I had to reschedule a session due to COVID and got the new date completely wrong. Basically I showed up a month early. When I arrived to find the doors were locked and the place closed: I called the number, spoke to the owner or manager, and realized my mistake. But the guy on the phone offered to come to the site and run the escape for my 15 yo and her friends. He was there in 30 minutes. I'm so very grateful. And the kids all had a blast in the Mad Scientist Room.

If you want a challenge, try the Secret Society room. It's the only escape room that I did not make it out of in the 1 hour time. Good luck!

We had a technical problem that cost us 15 -20 minutes of frustration. The computer in our room had not been properly set so despite our repeated attempts of using the correct password we were denied access to the next clue. This caused our group to lose a lot of time repeating steps to no avail. We finally tried resetting the computer to which point we were locked out and forced to alert the monitor. She nether apologized nor offered us more time. We came very close and might have solved the room had it not been for this roadblock. Therefore the whole experience was tarnished and left a bad impression on our whole group. I felt we were owed something since it was all no fault on our part. When I mentioned the issue on our departure the monitor said perhaps we should return again to retry or attempt an easier room. No offer of compensation or even an apology. We will not return
